Gimbalcom visited The Satellite Show in Washington DC 2012 supporting Atlantic Microwave who had a stand using Gimbalcom hardware and reviewing developments.
Long Term Project Completion
Gimbalcom completed a major project for a large scale, large file distribution system. We have been involved from project conception, to system specification, design, build and proving. The 4 year project involved 13 companies from across Europe.
3D Digital Project
Gimbalcom are working on a 3D digital
distribution project which deals with
the capture, post production, storage,
identification, ordering, distribution
and play-out of content for cinemas,
live events and other environments.
Gimbalcom's New Satellite LNA/B System Redundancy Unit
Development
We have developed a simple Web driven
1:1 redundancy unit capable of operating
waveguide and L band switches independently.
A monitoring system uses clean contact and
RF detectors to identify failures and can
perform switching either automatically and
manually using front panel controls and via
remote terminals.
Systems
We have built and supported modifications
to several C band, ku band and DVB
uplink satellite systems in the UK and
abroad, including 1.8m, 2.4m, 3.6m and
3.8m antennas.
