3D Digital Project
Gimbalcom are working on a 3D digital
distribution project which deals with
the capture, post production, storage,
identification, ordering, distribution
and play-out of content for cinemas,
live events and other environments.
Manufacturing
Our design and manufacturing capabilities
have been employed with supporting a
customer's requirements to build and
deliver a number of variants of bespoke
rack units to
address specific needs.
Development
We have developed a simple Web driven
1:1 redundancy unit capable of operating
waveguide and L band switches independently.
A monitoring system uses clean contact and
RF detectors to identify failures and can
perform switching either automatically and
manually using front panel controls and via
remote terminals.
Project Management
We are providing project management for a
major software undertaking, generating
reports, conducting prototype testing
and specification revision for a
satellite scheduling and distribution
system.
Systems
We have built and supported modifications
to several C band, ku band and DVB
uplink satellite systems in the UK and
abroad, including 1.8m, 2.4m, 3.6m and
3.8m antennas.
